Specially and extensively trained radiologists to perform all ultrasound and CT guided FNAC, biopsies and drainage procedures.
Most of the procedures are done in the presence of an anaesthetists to ensure better patient safety. These procedures are minimally invasive without requirement for skin incision. They are day care procedures, done under local anaesthesia, thus reducing the pain during the procedure.
Our team consists of radiologists, specially trained in performing ultrasound as well as CT guided FNAC, biopsies and procedures.
These procedures are usually performed under local anaesthesia to reduce patient pain. However, anaesthetist are present to ensure patient safety. We obtain samples from tissues using special needles. These samples are then sent to histopathologist to obtain a definitive diagnosis and guided proper patient management.
These radiologists are also trained to perform image guided drainage procedures such as liver abscess pigtail insertion and intercostal drainage tube insertion.
